a workshop session for instructional designers, librarians, and staff who support faculty who may want adopt, adapt, or create an open textbook. This workshop will cover what Open and OER is and isn't, open textbooks, how affordability impacts student academic success, how to identify and overcome barriers to textbook adoption, supporting faculty adoptions, and the ways that open textbooks can advance other open initiatives at our campus.
