JSTOR: Trust, Value, Partnership Part 1
JSTOR: Trust, Value, Partnership. The environment for scholarly publishing is changing rapidly and JSTOR, a nonprofit organization with a mission to create and maintain an archive of important scholarly journals, has taken a significant role in the new world of publishing. Since 1997 the JSTOR database has grown to include instant access to 30 million pages from more than 900 journals in dozens of disciplines. Jason E. Phillips, associate director, Library Relations, JSTOR, and Heidi McGregor, director of Marketing and Communications, JSTOR, will describe Penn State's use of this resource as well as new initiatives and long range plans for JSTOR.
